Who we are

While growing up, I battled with difficult skin for quite some time and really needed something that worked. I decided to start making coconut oil. Eventually, I started doing classes and slowly branched into making soaps, body butters, candles…………………the works. I added on product by product until Barefoot Coconut Products was created. I took my time and formulated each recipe, ensuring it wasn’t released until it was just right!

I was always very passionate about finding a healthier solution and I personally loved using all natural ingredients. A bush girl at heart you could say! My background before this was in Environmental and I combined that with my love for the outdoors and beach. I learned to love coconut oil but wasn’t so keen on the smell. Eventually I started using skin friendly essential oils and fragrances and the line evolved into what it is today.

People always ask why the name Barefoot Coconut Products. I wanted to encompass a beachy feel with amazing fragrances that make you feel like you’re on vacation. I enjoy the play on words as almost all the products are coconut oil based. Imagine combining great ingredients, a luxurious feel and a delicious smell and that’s Barefoot Coconut Products.
